Beer Engine: Arthur’s Robust Porter
A cask-conditioned porter. Our rendition is lightly roasty with a nice chocolate flavor.
German for “Rye Beer”, this very old style of beer predates the German purity law of 1516. A large amount of locally grown rye malt will give it spiciness and uses the same yeast strain that we use in the Hefeweizen.
Deep copper in color, this German ale has a nice balance of both malt and hops. Altbier is an ale that’s brewed and treated like a lager. Originally from Düsseldorf, Germany, “alt” means “old” in German, referring to the way beer was brewed before the discovery of lager yeast.
Belgian Farmhouse Ale originally made in Wallonia, Belgium. This is a dry and spicey ale using three different strains of yeast and a little bit of Paradise Seed.
