Beer Engine: Arthur’s Robust Porter
A cask-conditioned porter. Our rendition is lightly roasty with a nice chocolate flavor.
This unfiltered IPA features locally grown barley that was malted by Appalachian Malting. It also has a generous amount of both Nugget and Simcoe hops to make it very fruity.
15th Anniversary Ale
A Belgian-style Golden Ale crafted to celebrate 15 years of Otto’s beers!
German for “Rye Beer”, this very old style of beer predates the German purity law of 1516. A large amount of locally grown rye malt will give it spiciness and uses the same yeast strain that we use in the Hefeweizen.
“Cork & Cage” Series: Mowheato
A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, and a Mowheato is in your hand. Inspired by an idea from our old brewer, Nik, comes this wheat gose-style ale based on the Mojito. Key lime juice, lime peel, mint, honey, and sea salt were muddled in a wheat base, which was soured and dry-hopped with Wai-iti hops. The resulting ale has a lime presence, followed by mint, and rounded out with a slightly salty and sour finish.
“Cork & Cage” Series: Amour Vierge
Hearts abound with love and romance, as with love at first sight or this French-inspired floral sour ale. This golden ale, with Belgian candi syrup and elderberries, was fermented with French Saison yeast and then aged for 13 months in French oak with Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus. Hibiscus, rosehips, lavender, and elderflowers were added and further aged for two months. It was then bottled and aged for 13 additional months. Amour Vierge has an intense citrusy floral aroma with flowers front on the palate followed by citrus then finishing dry. Share one with your loved one and remember where there is great love, there is always sour beer.
“Cork & Cage” Series: Smelt of Elderberries
Straight from the Holy Grail’s shrubbery comes Smelt of Elderberries. This fruity wheat ale contains over 15% of fresh elderberries per bottle. Belgian candi sugar and Bier de Garde yeast adds a subtle sweetness with a hint of spice. Have one today, become one of the “Knights who say ni!”, and join us on our trip to Camelot. “On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.”
This year’s edition has the grain bill of a porter, then we added Black Pearl Molasses (the same kind we use in Barrel 21 Rum!), Montmorency cherries, and Dominican cocoa nibs.
This “Black Lager” gets its dark hue from roasted specialty malts with a nice hop finish caused by the use of our hop jack with whole flower Saaz hops.
Belgian Farmhouse Ale originally made in Wallonia, Belgium. This is a dry and spicey ale using three different strains of yeast and a little bit of Paradise Seed.
A strong, dark, German style bock. This beer is served traditionally cloudy due to the suspended yeast. This wheat beer is estery like a hefeweizen (hefe=yeast), but bigger and sweet with more of everything.
Big Malty lager brewed in the style of the doppelbock. Rich flavors and a deep red color highlight this complex cold weather favorite.
PAPA (Pennsylvania Pale Ale)
An American pale ale brewed with all local ingredients, including Barley grown and malted in Pennsylvania by Deer Creek Malthouse in Chester County, and hopped with Greenaway Farms hops from Jersey Shore, PA.
Beer Engine: Arthur’s IPA
A British-style juicy IPA brewed with British pale malts and lots of Mosaic hops in the boil and dryhop.
Beer Engine: Bourbon-Aged Jolly Roger Imperial Stout

Beer Engine: Arthur’s Best Bitter
This British style ale is single hopped with Cascade Hops in the kettle and also dry-hopped with Cascade. It is being served from the cask hand pump.
Beer Engine: Old Fugget Barleywine

Pennsylvania Tripel Ale
Ale brewed with Pennsylvania apples, malt, and honey. *Also available in-house as 750 ml Cork & Cage Bottle*
Triple D IPA
This one is not for the faint of heart. A total of 132 pounds of hops in 20 barrels of beer – that is over 6 1/2 pounds per barrel! We started with Cascade Hops in each mash, and in the kettle we added Millennium, Newport, Horizon, Nugget, and Cascade. In the fermenter we dry-hopped with more Newport, Horizon, and Millennium hops. ABV: 10.8% IBUs: A LOT
Night Owl Coffee Stout
A dry stout brewed with Sumatra Mandheling coffee. This ale combines the smooth dryness of an Irish Stout with the aroma and flavor of rich Coffee. This stout is nitro-poured for a delicious creamy taste.
Available in 12-oz. 6-packs and cases!
A Trappist Tripel style ale. This light colored traditional Tripel is made with Belgian pils malt, candi sugar, and fermented with a Trappist yeast strain. Estery and Strong best describes this unique specialty beer.
All PA IPA
This beer is 100% PA! We used a total of 120 pounds of fresh Chinook, Zeus, and Cascade hops from Greenaway Farm in Jersey Shore, PA in the boil, hopjack, and dry hop, coupled with barley that was grown at Maple Hill Farm in Warriors Mark, and malted by Appalachian Malting in Portage. Enjoy drinking the harvest!
A bit of smoked malt and a bunch of oats, bring in a complex porter hopped with nugget and cascade. The smoked malt is just enough to let you know it’s there, but it’s not over powering. The oats bring in a smooth, silky texture.

Just below the North Star, you’ll find the Magi, who are there to help you celebrate the holiday season. This red ale is spiced with frankincense and myrrh, which present a slightly piney flavor with hints of black pepper. We hope you will find this to be pure magic and a wise choice. Happy Holidays!
